MAP, a French acronym meaning Mise Au Point, can be translated as engineering support to final assembly line and flight tests. The role of MAP - and of Mark Cousin as head of MAP - is to find solutions to all the minor problems that occur during the testing and production of an aircraft.

The A380 test aircraft, which landed early on Saturday morning in Singapore to fly daily in the Asian Aerospace air show, has just returned from Iqaluit, Canada, where it successfully performed a cold weather test campaign.
A key presentation at the ‘Welcoming the A380 Conference’, which will run alongside Asian Aerospace, will highlight Airbus’ collaboration with the airport and ground handling community to ensure A380 compatibility with existing equipment and infrastructure.
